I should begin by saying what an honour and a privilege it is to be the Lady Captain. I joined the section in 2002 having hung up my hockey boots having played for Chichester Hockey Club for many years. 

Having always enjoyed playing sport, especially team games, it was important for me to continue to enjoy competitive sport. Since joining the Chichester ladies section all those years ago I have made great friends and enjoyed all aspects of golf on offer at the club from fun games, to the more competitive competitions on offer.

Having retired from a long and successful career in education, I am looking forward to giving something back to the ladies section and a club I love being a part of. We have a strong and growing section with long standing members and many new members who I hope enjoy all aspects on offer.

I look forward to my year ahead and getting to know even more members. My chosen charity is ‘Cancer Wise’ and I hope to raise money to support their good work throughout the coming year.
