With a tee off time of 10.00 the Div One team had a very early start for their 120 mile round trip!!
In windy conditions ( which we were grateful for, because it blew the rain away) The ladies all had very tough matches against a very good Crowborough side. With most of the matches going to the 15th and 16th holes we lost 4.5 to .5. Well played Laura getting the half. We look forward to playing the return match back at Chichester in June. Thanks to all the team for turning out.
Crowborough - Home - Sat 14 June
Pyecombe - Away - Sat 3 May Won 4-1
Team: Lisa Mitchelmore, Olivia Corbin, Karen Parks, Sang Porter & Helen Ball
The Div 1 ladies travelled to Pyecombe to play their third match of the season.
The team all played some great golf on a very hilly course. With quite a slow round the ladies did well to keep their concentration. Olivia having a great match beating her opponent 5&4 and the other matches finishing at the 17th and 18th, giving Chichester a brilliant win 4-1 . Div 1 will be travelling away to Crowborough at the end of the month for their next match.

West Sussex -Away - Thurs 24 April Lost 5-0
Team: Karen Parks, Lisa Mitchelmore, Laura Thomas, Olivia Corbin & Sang Porter
In spite of some very close matches going to the 16th and 17th holes the Team lost 5-0 . A great effort by the team. The score not reflecting the close games .
West Sussex - Home - Sun 13th April Won 3-2
Team: Sang Porter, Lisa Mitchelmore, Rachel Greenland, Karen Parks & Helen Ball
In windy conditions the Div 1 team had a fantastic win, beating West Sussex 3-2. An impressive win as their highest handicap was 6.9 !!
